How to install Windows 8/8.1

HOW TO INSTALL WINDOWS 8/8.1/10 

 IN PC OR LAPTOP

This blog expains how to Install windows in your PC or Laptop using Bootable CD.

Before installation process, you must have a new CD/DVD.

I will guide you step by step to install windows by using my cell images. Short Detail of Images are under Image. First see Image and then short detail is seen under image.

Let's Start!!

1.   Firstly set Boot Order using F2 key after switching on your PC .i-e First CD Rom, Then Hard Drive and Then Removable Media / USB etc. And if you are trying to install windows using image file / iso via USB/Flash drive then boot sequence is FIRST Removable Media/Drive then Hard Drive and then CD Rom.

2.   After sequencing Boot Order as above. Save the changes you made and Restart your PC/Lap.

3.   You will see "Setup is Starting" Message after restarting....

4.   After that screen will show like this. You will select the language as required, Time Format and the Input method/Keyboard. Recommended setting are as above in Image. Press Next after this step.

5.  The next screen will looks like this. Here you will choose your System Type. Either your PC is 32bit/64bit etc. You can select the option as the requirement of PC. Press Next after selecting option.

6.   Now you are asking to Licence Terms. Check the box for "I accept the licence terms" and press Next

7.   After press Next, you will see the Drives of you Hard Disc/Drive on Screen. You will select that drive in which you want to install windows. Before selecting the drive you must have to format it, so that the previous/old files or viruses can easily be removed from that drive. You can see Delete option symbol red X below the screen. Click on Delete to format the drive

8.   By pressing delete you will see this.Click OK to Format the Drive. All Data will be removed permanently from the drive. If you have important files in that drive. Then do not delete that drive. Just Click Next after selecting the Drive. By doing this the old files of windows will not be deleted permanently. It's better to format/delete drive first and Make a new volume drive.

9.   Here, I am making a new drive after formatting/deleting Drive in which I want to install windows

10.  You can partition your Hard Drive here. You can make one or more drives as required. I am making a single drive or about 127GB for windows and software files. You can write the size of your own requirement in MBs and then click on Apply to continue.

11.   You can see a New Drive appears of about 124GB . Select that and press Next.

12.  Now it's start copying files from CD ROM .

13.   After copying files to drive, Windows will make the copy files ready for installation.

14.  You have to wait for all the options to be completed 100%.

15.   After completion of all the features, your PC will restart automatically to continue the setup process.

16.   Windows is getting the devices ready to use after setup completes.

17.   Next you will see this screen on your PC. Just type the name you want to use as PC Name.

18.  Here you have to select options of your own. If you want your PC to automatically update apps, windows, software etc then select Automatically install important updates otherwise you will select "Don't set up windows update". Turn off all other options also that you are seeing in above image. 

19.  Kindly read all the options and the description then turn on or off that.

20.  Now here, you can write your name but not same as the name of your PC. Write Different Name. e.g If you write PC name ABC then write some other name of the user. Like ABCDEF or XYZ etc. Also write the password two time and press Next.

21.   Now Windows will finalizing the setting you have chosen before.

22.  Now installation of New apps process will starts

                  Now you can see the Desktop and 2 icons on the screen. Now window is complete.
